Dr. Byunghee Kim is the Founder and CEO of VMS Solutions Co., Ltd. Dr. Kim founded VMS in 2000 just before receiving his Ph.D. and has been leading the company since then. After founding VMS, Dr. Kim worked as a project leader and consultant, directing planning and scheduling projects for global semiconductor and display panel manufacturers with great success. Based on the success of the projects, he has grown VMS into a leading planning and scheduling company in the semiconductor and display industries. Dr. Kim is currently focusing on developing VMS as a total SCM solution provider and expanding into other industries.

Dr. Kim holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Sungkyunkwan University in Korea. In addition, he earned his master’s and doctoral degrees from the Department of Industrial Engineering at KAIST, Republic of Korea.
